Being Me is a student wellbeing campaign created by Young People Thrive in partnership with Buckinghamshire New University. The campaign was designed to support students who may be experiencing disordered eating or struggling with food-related challenges, offering safe spaces to explore how they’re feeling and practical support around nutrition, cooking, and self-care.
I led on the campaign’s visual identity, illustrations, and social media assets, working closely with a colleague to develop a tone of voice that felt approachable, affirming, and accessible to students. The identity was designed to be flexible, allowing for future content development across wellbeing themes.
I created a set of bespoke illustrations to bring warmth and relatability to the campaign, aiming to reflect what university-age audiences might find appealing, inclusive, and emotionally accessible. The style is deliberately soft and characterful, complementing the messaging without overwhelming it.
